November 2007 report of IDC on market projection of online gaming in India, estimates a CAGR of 63% in users from a level of 1.3 million users in 2006 to around 14.9 million users by 2011. during the same period revenue through subscription for online games is expected to grow by CAGR of 126% from a level of US $1.22m in 2006 to US $72m in 2011. Apart from subscription, the possibilities like advertisement revenues and advergaming also are seen as attractive propositions for the entrepreneurs and corporate entities entering the business.
